| Bio | Dr. phil. Jacqueline Maurer (born 1984 in Aarau, Switzerland) is a film critic, film scholar and art historian who examines interrelations between film, architecture, urbanism and landscape. Her research combines analyses of cinematic works and explorations at film locations with historic and discursive contextualizations to demonstrate film’s specific and multi-layered potential to reflect about aesthetic, cultural, ecologic, economic, historical, political, and social dimensions related to the (built) environment. |
